ANGLE BOARD

The Broadford Mill is the only angle board manufacturer in Victoria and we are the only angle board manufacturer in Australia that has the entire process onsite.

Nearly all angle board used in Victoria and indeed Australia, is imported from Asia. Our objective was to manufacture it here, provide jobs for regional Victorians and cut out the green miles.

One hundred percent of the paper used is Australian made downgrade or wastepaper. This also is cutting out more green miles.

Angle Board, also known as Corner Board, it is a multi-layered kraft and recycled paper that is glued and formed into a rigid right angle. It reduces the risk of damage to products stacked on the corners of a loaded pallet.

With a solid pallet frame, packagers can achieve higher strap and stretch wrap tension. This increase in strength helps to prevent pallet tips or collapses during the storage and shipping process.

  • Custom size lengths ranging from 50mm up to 6 metres.
  • Cardboard / angle thickness is available in 2.0mm to 10mm.
  • Angle width is available as, 50mm x 50mm, 60mm x 60mm or 75mm x 75mm and other sizes as requested. Our combined maximum is 150mm in total (e.g. 70 x 80mm angle)
  • Stacking Strength, your pallets will be vertically reinforced, enabling pallets to be stacked higher.
